This project, won as a competition, involved a Master plan for 260.0 acres, along the downstream of the Almatti Dam. It also has a forestation of 500.0 acres of the right downstream. The master plan, was designed as a cultural center for the people of North Karnataka. Taking advantage of the large reservoir, the design involved a water theme park, heritage gardens, Art and crafts Plaza, a promenade, dry games and large open spaces for congregations and festivities. The development at site was executed for 90.0 areas. The design has a Grand Entrance Plaza, designed in the lines of the 26 sluice gates of the dam. The linear axis from the entrance plaza terminates in the water front, into an Amphitheatre with a water themed show. The heritage gardens showcases gardens from different parts of the world, which would have been largely inaccessible to the local population. The gardens include a Mughal garden in terraces, an Italian Renaissance garden and French baroque Gardens. Water jets of different configurations line the varied terraces of the Mughal Gardens.
