This project is a memorial for Padma shri Dr. Anji Reddy, a pioneer in the field of Pharmaceuticals, for Generic Medicine. The Project – conceived by Architect Sanjay Mohe, celebrates the life and accomplishments of Dr. Reddy. The site chosen was in the path tread by Dr. Reddy from his Lab to his Guest House within a large R & D campus. The landscape captures the varied moods and mannerisms, the trials and tribulations and philanthropy of this self made pioneer. All the expressions are in abstract – like his distinct laugh which would resonate like a chuckle is exemplified by wind chimes suspended on trees. His nature of giving back to the society, is expressed as a water spout.
